M.2 Connector, formerly called Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF), is a specification for internal computer expansion cards and corresponding ports. Because of the smaller and more flexible dimensions associated with extended functions, M.2 is better suited for connecting e.g. SSDs - especially in compact devices such as ultrabooks or tablets.

The M.2 standard describes four PCI Express lanes and a SATA Revision 3.x (6 Gbps) port - all in one connector. At each port, both bus systems can also be used in parallel.

Available in pitch 0.50mm and 75 contacts with 2 different heights, 3.05mm and 4.05mm. 5 Key options (A, B, E, M and M-reverse)
Support higher data rates in a dense form factor. Ensure a secure connection with different module cards. Connectors meet the PCI-SIG industry standard
